IndieLondon
IndieLondon.co.uk is dedicated to London’s entertainments scene; cinema, music, theatre “and the people who make the capital tick.”. It’s currently attracting around 80,000 unique visitors a month who come to the site for a range of reviews and interviews. Visitors can now leave comments on many articles, subscribe to RSS feeds and purchase items directly in the IndieLondon shop – all managed by a Textpattern installation.
Content Management

I was responsible for the design and build of the original site and its subsequent two re-designs. The current version of IndieLondon is built using TextPattern and has many new features including: an RSS feed; reader comments and multiple authors accounts with differing author priviledges.
The content is maintained by non-technical journalists and so the CMS had to be simple to use and easily updated.
The site is due for refresh of its design and information architecture. We’ll be creating typical user profiles and visitor paths so that we can optimise the experience for the valued readers.
